COVID-19 AND JIAI AIKIDO
As you know, many businesses, including Jiai Aikido, experienced a total shut down earlier in the COVID-19 pandemic. Recently we have become able to resume limited operations with proper health protocols, outside of the dojo. We continue to offer multiple online classes via ZOOM.
Our Wednesdays 1pm and Saturdays 11am classes are all ON at regular times; please meet outside the roll up door, ready to train with comfortable shoes, and weapon set. We are limiting access to inside the dojo.
Jiai Aikido's sister dojo, the "Juilian Martial Arts Dojo", also offer multiple online and outdoor-in person training in Julian, Ca., located 1 hour from San Diego.
Please check our CALENDAR page for a schedule of both in-person and online classes.
Please be advised that the following health protocols will be followed for everyone’s safety for any practice inside the dojo:
If you don’t feel well and/or are experiencing any flu-like symptoms, please do NOT come to the dojo.
The mats and all surfaces will be carefully cleaned before and after every class.
Everyone must wear a mask when entering the dojo. Students will wear masks while training.
All members must sanitize their hands upon entering the dojo and in between partner changes if any. Hand sanitizer is available in the dojo. Solo practice is encourages.
Do not leave any items in the dojo. Please take your water bottles and any other belongings with you when you leave. Come dressed out to train; changing rooms are closed.
We have a forehead thermometer, strong cleaning schedule, and basic covid questionnaire for all visitors. Please be ready to cooperate with our protocols. Thank you!
